Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb has today launched his drawing competition targeted at Primary School’s across his constituency to celebrate the forthcoming Queen’s Jubilee.
The Member of Parliament has contacted all primary schools within the Preseli Pembrokeshire constituency inviting them to take part in an opportunity for both the individual and school to win a prize.
Her Majesty the Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of royal service.
Stephen Crabb MP said,
“I appreciate how tough the past two years has been for many children, and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee offers people of all ages a chance to come together and celebrate this historic occasion across Wales and the United Kingdom.”
He added
“To celebrate Her Majesty’s historic reign, I am running a competition for all primary school children in Preseli Pembrokeshire. I am asking children to display their talent by drawing a picture of the Queen.”
There will be a prize for the winner of the competition and, in addition, a prize for their school of £100 book tokens.
The competition will open on the 02/04/22 and close on the 13/05/22 with the winner announced on the 18/5/22.
The winning picture will be made into a card which will be sent to Her Majesty showcasing the fantastic artistic talent of the children in Preseli Pembrokeshire.
