The Welsh Labour Government has made Pembrokeshire a dumping ground with enormous convoys of lorries arriving each day with waste from other parts of Wales. It is unacceptable.
The situation at Withyhedge Landfill is shocking, and a real example of Welsh Government failing to regulate and take enforcement action against a company that has consistently failed local residents.
The owner of the site donated £200,000 to Vaughan Gething’s recent election campaign. This an enormous donation in the context of Welsh politics, and it raises so many questions about how this business is being regulated.
Paul Davies MS and I are keeping the political pressure on and doing all we can to get action for our constituents, but it is down to Welsh Labour Government who solely have the power to stop the problems at the landfill.
Take my survey below to show Welsh Labour that this is an issue that can't be ignored.
