A host of Pembrokeshire businesses were represented at the Prime Minister’s annual St Davids Day reception held at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday.
Secretary of State for Wales and local MP Stephen Crabb was keen to ensure that businesses from St Davids’ birthplace were present alongside leading Welsh men and women who have contributed to Welsh national life in so many different ways.
Some 150 Welsh sports stars, politicians, actors, artists, and business representatives were all welcomed to the Prime Minister’s home for the unique Welsh celebration.
Following the reception Stephen Crabb MP commented,
“St Davids Day is a celebration of Wales and celebration for Welsh people across our country, and indeed across the world. The reception is all about recognising and celebrating our cultural heritage and importantly, the success of Wales as a nation.”
“I was especially pleased to welcome Mr Kaye and Stephen Mansel Davies, a significant employer in North Pembrokeshire, along with Ian Davies of Stena in Fishguard, Tan Y Castell Welshcakes, Calon Wen and NomNom who had all travelled up from Pembrokeshire to showcase their businesses.”
