Preseli MP Stephen Crabb is urging shoppers to think local this festive season, as he backs the nationwide Small Business Saturday campaign.
This Saturday (December 5) small businesses across Pembrokeshire will be the focus of a UK-wide scheme urging shoppers to support their small, local businesses.
Following a visit to participating business Victoria Bookshop, Stephen Crabb MP said: “The high street and our favourite independent shops have been hit hard by the pandemic this year.
“That’s why the Small Business Saturday campaign is a great way to shine a spotlight on the local businesses that need our support, not just at this festive time of year but throughout the year.
“These businesses are working hard to keep customers and staff safe and continue to provide excellent service. Our high streets and town centres are better places for having independent and family-owned businesses and we must support them as best we can.
“Whether it’s a Christmas gift or essentials, support our county's small businesses.”
