Stephen receives a lot of requests from students and young people for work experience placements and internships at Westminster or in his constituency office. Every effort is made to accommodate these requests, with priority given to young people from Pembrokeshire.
Many local young people have already undertaken a work placement with Stephen which has provided them with a greater understanding of the work of their Member of Parliament and a useful insight into day-to-day politics. For some students this has provided a valuable stepping stone on their chosen career path.
If you are interested in a work placement with Stephen then please send him an email to crabbs@parliament.uk with the following details:
- Age, contact details and place of study
- Why you would like to undertake work experience with an MP
- The dates you wish to undertake your placement
- You preferred location for the placement – Westminster or Pembrokeshire
If you are planning to spend time in London your own travel / accommodation arrangements will need to be organised.
Stephen occasionally has the facility to engage an intern on a longer placement. If you are interested in this option please make this clear on your email.
