Stephen has proved himself a passionate defender of the farming community in Pembrokeshire. He understands that agriculture is still the backbone of the rural economy and believes that a strong farming sector is vital for UK food security. In 2006 he co-founded the All-Party Dairy Farmers Group to champion the dairy sector in Parliament.
Stephen has campaigned for supermarkets to stock more local produce and is a supporter of the Farmers Markets in Pembrokeshire which are providing consumers with new local food choices.
Agricultural is devolved to the Welsh Assembly and any specfic queries on agricultural issues should be addressed to your local Assembly Member.
